Guidance and Counselling
“Every individual deserves guidance, encouragement, and the opportunity to realize their full potential.” – Madam Teressa Olut
Welcome to the Guidance and Counselling Department.
As the Head of this department, I am honored to lead a team dedicated to supporting the personal, social, emotional, academic, and career development of our students. At the core of our work is the belief that every learner deserves guidance, encouragement, and a supportive environment in which they can thrive.
The Guidance and Counselling Department serves as a vital pillar within the institution, providing students with the tools and support they need to navigate the challenges of academic life and personal growth. We offer counselling services, mentorship programs, career guidance, life-skills training, and interventions that promote positive behavior, mental well-being, and responsible decision-making.
Our department works closely with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to identify and address issues that may affect learning and personal development. Through individual counselling sessions, group discussions, workshops, and awareness programs, we help students build confidence, develop resilience, manage stress, and cultivate healthy relationships.
The benefits of Guidance and Counselling extend far beyond the individual student. By promoting emotional well-being, discipline, self-awareness, and positive values, we contribute to a conducive learning environment where students can achieve their full academic potential. Our efforts also help reduce behavioral challenges, improve student engagement, strengthen character development, and foster a culture of respect, responsibility, and excellence throughout the institution.
As we continue to serve our students and the wider school community, our commitment remains steadfast: to empower every learner with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to make informed choices and become productive, responsible citizens.
I encourage all students to take advantage of the services offered by the department and to view guidance and counselling as a valuable resource for personal and academic success.
Together, we can build a supportive community where every individual is empowered to grow, succeed, and realize their full potential.
Madam Teressa Olut
